Spring Wedding Open Weekend. 6th to 7th April 2019

For those of you on a romantic weekend break in the Lake District, the Spring Wedding Open Weekend is one for you. It takes place at the Edenhall Estate with the backdrop of the Pennine Fells. The weekend is free entry, although if you wish to meet a dedicated team of wedding planners, it’s recommended to book an appointment in advance.

One of the worlds biggest selling classical singers visits the Lake District in April 2019. Russell Watson has sold over 7 million albums and is cited as the new Pavarotti. The singer will bring his charismatic show to Coronation Hall, for his “Very Special Evening with Russell Watson”.

Lost Voice Guy at the Beggar’s Theatre. 13th April 2019

Having won Britain’s Got Talent last year, comedian Lee Ridley has gone from strength to strength. His stand-up show “Lost Voice Guy: I’m Only it for the Parking” comes to the Beggar’s Theatre in Millom in April 2019.

Bowness Bay Blues Weekend 2019. 12th, 13th and 14th April 2019.

If you love blues music, then the Bowness Bay Blues Weekend is a perfect excuse to book yourself a package break in the Lake District. Prom Art at Grange Over Sands. 28th April 2019

The first of several Prom Art events takes place on Sunday 28th April in Grange Over Sands. Entry is free and it gives visitors to the Lake District the chance to see the local talent on offer. There are over 80 stalls, all artistic avenues are covered, from pencil sketches through to photography and jewellery.
